Sageline Consulting was established in early 2015 to provide informed and impartial advice on every aspect of the energy industry. We equip our clients with the contacts, knowledge and confidence that they need to succeed. Richard Ford, Principal
Richard has over 35 years experience in all aspects of the electricity industry. Before moving to Canada, Richard enjoyed over 25 years of experience in all aspects of the UK electricity system. He has worked for electricity generation transmission and distribution companies; a renewable trade association; the UK energy regulator and the Ontario government.
Richard is a leader in renewable energy technology and energy markets. He has particular expertise in smart grid, energy storage and electric vehicles.
An accomplished public speaker, Richard has presented at conferences in 10 countries.
As Principal at Sageline Consulting Richard advises clients on smart grids, energy conservation opportunities and regulatory affairs.
Richard also serves as a cleantech advisor at Ryerson University's Clean Energy Zone
